As a celebratory tribute to Phill Niblock’s career, spanning more than 70 years in INTERMEDIA, Sound Collages is released on vinyl in an ultra limited Phygital Edition of 5 copies, that combines tangibility of the analog medium with the uniquiness of digital images unquestionably certified by the Inscription on Bitcoin blockchain.

In response to Dirk Higgins'challenge to expand Intermedia's domain, this significant and unprecedented expansion of Intermedia restores the aura of the digital work by reaffirming the author's role and honors Phill Niblock's legacy, as planned with him in 2021, when this technology was not yet mature.

The work was presented in Berlin on September 11, 2024, in memory of Phill Niblock (Oct 2 1933 - Jan 8 2024) at the opening of the Post Relativism exhibition, organized by KOO EDITIONS GALLERY during Art Week.

Terms and conditions: Once you have made your purchase, the physical material (hand-cut vinyl record and unique photographic print in an hand made framed canvas) will be sent to you. Postage costs will be charged as an extra using a standard service to the destination, unless otherwise requested.

In order to transfer the Inscription related to the specific artwork of the series the collector must provide a specific ordinal wallet address -as Xverse, UniSat, Leather-, and the item will be transferred in 2-3 business days. Please send the address of your collector’s ordinals wallet by email to koo@kooeditions.art

Each package will be sealed with a Koo Editions Gallery sticker bearing its specific code.

By purchasing this work with its Inscription, you are also purchasing a minimal fraction of Bitcoin, expressed in SAT (Satoshi), a fraction of Bitcoin, which carries the information of the reference image. The buyer will be provided with instructions on the holding and possible exchange of the digital asset, which continues to constitute certification of the physical work even if its owner changes, as what is recorded on the blockchain remains publicly accessible, thus the evidence of what it represents.
